Full Membership of RLSCC not only gives you access to our wide range of Club Rides; it also includes a number of additional benefits.  These include non-cycling events like our Annual Awards Dinner as well as a host of discounts on offers exclusive to RLSCC members.

WhatsApp Community

We have a RLSCC community where all of our different club chats and topics can be found under one umbrella rather than having to be manually added to different group chats. The benefit of this community is that you can see all the chats under RLSCC and join chats yourself without the need to be added by someone. This gives you, our members, full flexibility of what disciplines and events you want to know more about or hear more of. There is also an "Announcement" feature where club committee members can post important updates and messages. You can see an example below of what the club community looks like. Retail Discounts

Giant Brand Store – as long-standing partners and supporters of RLSCC the Giant Brand Store offers a range of different discounts.  These include up to 15% off bikes (excluding sales bikes or Cycle to Work Scheme) and servicing and various discounts on other accessories and services in-store.  For the latest on what’s on offer pop into the store or drop them a line.

 Bike Box  – RLSCC members receive a 12.5% discount on rental of Polaris hard bike-boxes.  Just enter “RLSCC” and your club membership number to claim your discount.  Note that due to logistics this is only available to members in and around Warwickshire.

Pilates by Ju – saying flexible and building strength off the bike is a fantastic way to ensure you are at your best to make the most of the time you spend on the bike.  As an RLSCC member you're entitled to discounts when you book classes, or 121 sessions, with Pilates by Ju.  Drop them a line to find out more and read the fantastic story about why they're offering this benefit to our members.

 

Loan Equipment

Two-way radios – great for MTB rides and away-days, we have a set of two-way radios for use by RLSCC Members.  Invaluable for reconnecting groups during adventurous days out on the trail where mobile signals cannot always be relied upon!

 

At-Pub Bike Security

We have partnered up with a few local pubs who kingly hold a few pairs of bike locks so you can enjoy some liquid refreshment or a lunch out safe in the knowledge your bikes aren’t going anywhere.  Simply show your membership confirmation email at the bar and ask for the locks at one of the following fine establishments:

British Cycling Membership Discount

If you’ve not already joined British Cycling, as an RLSCC members you’ll be entitled to up to 50% off your first BC membership.  The discount applies to both BC Ride [link to https://www.britishcycling.org.uk/membership/ride] and BC Race membership levels.

Annual General Meeting & Awards Night

Each year we host an AGM with club updates that is generally hosted and paid-for by the club. It is a great way to connect across all cycling disciplines and you might even get yourself an award for your efforts that year!

Event Funding

Our members benefit from club finances in order to fund, part-fund or upfront loan an event or product that might benefit them or the wider cycling community. In the past we've hosted pub evenings with food paid for by the club and RLSCC big bobble hats so our members don't have to up-front the costs of the things that matter most to them! Professional Photography

A new addition to the membership benefits is a £20 budget per-month for club members to purchase professional photographs of them at races and events alike. The club are happy to reimburse costs for photographs up to a value of £20 a month (£20 is the overall budget not per applicant). The only stipulations are that the rider must be wearing club kit and be happy for the club to use the images on their socials/website. Contact a committee member if you wish to partake in this benefit.
