7 RLSCC riders were in action over the weekend racing the UOBCC Spring Crits over at the Tudor Grange circuit in Solihull. Andrew Fickling, Gerard Scott, Ben Dodd, Jon Appleyard, Roberto Ortolan and Ben James took part in the Men's 3/4 race with Emile Glorieux racing in the Men's E/1/2/3 event.
In the 3/4 race attacks came straight from the off with a number of RLSCC riders in different moves in the first 15 minutes, these were all brought back however until a strong group of 5 managed to break away. This move managed to stay away to the end with all RLSCC riders finishing in the bunch behind. All riders rode really well with all finishing inside the top 20 and Gerry our top placed rider in 12th.
It was a slightly different story in the E/1/2/3 race with the elite riders really putting the hammer down early in the race causing a large split which stayed to the end. Emile worked really well in the group behind eventually finishing in 22nd place.
