These rides are aimed at riders who like to get some miles in and who love a thick wedge of cake to fuel that ride.
Rides are typically 50-65 miles (80-104 km) and we usually have three or more groups, split by speed and distance. Most rides have a café stop at half distance or so. There will be hills on these routes, so be prepared to channel your inner mountain goat at some point.
Estimated ride speeds:
Easiest group = 15-17 mph (24-27 kph)
Medium group = 16-18 mph (26-29 kph)
Fastest group = 17+ mph (27+ kph)
We try to keep groups to 6-8 riders to keep things manageable for traffic, socialising and to prevent long queues at the cafes.
The easiest ride is a no drop, but please ensure you choose a suitable group to get the most enjoyment. If you have a puncture or mechanical, there is always plenty of help available.
