Isle Of Wight Day Trip (Take 2)

The return of the ever popular IOW day trip!

On Saturday 9th September the club will be offering two options for members, a gravel ride and a round trip round the Isle. On the Saturday morning we will travel down to the ferry crossing in Lymington where the cars will be left on the main land, board the foot ferry with bikes across to Yarmouth, from there we will begin our day in the saddle. 

The road cyclists will be completing a lap of the island c.60 miles while the gravel ride will be completeing a 50 mile cross country loop to Shanklin area and back. In these we will endeavour to accommodate much like we do on weekly club rides offering multiple speed options for road cyclists (A, B, C rides) and a none drop ride for gravel.

Now for the best bit .... with the intention to give something back to it's members the club will SUBSIDISE THE COST OF THE FOOT FERRY for all members!

Exact timing and route tbc but expect it to be a fully day affair with an early start and late return to Leamington.
