A day trip to the IOW for all members both Roadies and MTB's for a social jaunt on the Isle.

The return of the ever popular IOW day trip!
On Saturday 15th July the club will be offering a joint day trip for both MTB and Road Cyclists to the Isle of Wight. On the Saturday morning we will travel down to the ferry crossing in Lymington where the cars will be left on the main land, board the foot ferry with bikes across to Yarmouth, from there we will begin our day in the saddle. To finish we aim to meet back up at a pub on the main land to share stories of our day and enjoy a drink or two.
The road cyclists will be completing a lap of the island c.60 miles while the mountain bikes will make use of some of the islands trails round the Yarmouth area. In these we will endeavour to accommodate much like we do on weekly club rides offering multiple speed options for road cyclists (A, B, C rides) and a none drop ride for mountain bikers.
Now for the best bit .... with the intention to give something back to it's members the club will SUBSIDISE THE COST OF THE FOOT FERRY for all members!
Exact timing and routes tbc but expect it to be a fully day affair with an early start and late return to Leamington.
