Held at Adventure Sports in Warwick on 2nd July and 30th July.
A little bit of Warwick will become a little bit Belgian as Summer Cyclocross makes it's foray to introduce the inhabitants of South Warwickshire to the lung burning, grin-inducing discipline of Cyclocross.
Warwick is normally associated with steeplechasing horses but on this evening it will be the cross riders doing the steeplechasing and the air will be ringing to the sound of cowbells and brake blocks rather than stirrups and hooves.
This event is intended to provide an introduction to Cyclocross but without the wind, rain and cold but as this is Britain we cannot guarantee anything on the weather front. This event is open to cross bikes and mountain bikes although MTB riders will find themselves at a disadvantage on parts of the course.
There will be a junior race (~15 minutes, prizes for each age category) and a senior race (~50 minutes, ladies and gents from 18+). There will be separate prize categories within the senior race so there will be plenty to race for.
Cyclocross is the ultimate cycling spectator sport so please bring your supporters with you!
